With a few simple steps and a scoring system you will learn how to assess which parts of your body work well and which have pain or restricted movement. We check the whole body because the part causing the issue isn't always where the pain is!
Just 6 simple movements form the basis of treatment, with others added to treat specific issues. such as sciatica pain, shoulder pain or difficulty moving an arm.
Learn how to choose a treatment movement and how to assess any changes. Learn many different ways to treat.
Simple rules give you the route to follow if you aren't getting results from the first movement you chose.
Things improved but later got worse? We show you how to work out why and what to do about it.
You will understand the process, the rules to follow and how to treat any part of your body to heal pain and restriction.
You will have plenty of opportunities to practice on yourself and ask questions to clarify anything you're uncertain about.
Please make sure you know whether light to moderate exercise is safe for you. If you have any doubt, please check with your doctor.
You really don't need to be fit. Many of the simple movements we use can be done sitting or even lying down. They can be done slowly and with breaks in between.
Be aware of any movements that aren't safe for you - it is your responsibility to inform the instructor and to make sure you don't do anything unsafe for you.
Please arrive on time for each part of the course. You need to attend all the sessions to fully understand the method.
There are practical parts of the course - please come prepared to take part. Stretchy, comfortable clothes are best and low or flat heels.
Please bring a couple of small square cushions if you can.
Questions are welcome but at times you might be asked to hold onto your question until a suitable point in the class.
One-to-one appointments may be available with the instructor for an additional fee.
